Rally to Be Held on Geumnam-ro at 5 PM on the 4th
'Gwangju Emergency Action for Immediate Resignation of Yoon Sukyeol Regime and Social Reform', a coalition of civic groups in the Gwangju area, urged on the 2nd that the Joint Investigation Headquarters (Gongjobon) should immediately arrest Yoon Sukyeol, the ringleader of insurrection, and that the National Assembly should immediately impeach Choi Sangmok, who is defending the insurrection.
Gwangju Emergency Action, which consists of 175 Gwangju civic organizations, stated in a declaration that "all acts that obstruct the arrest of the ringleader of insurrection, Yoon Sukyeol, should be regarded as acts of aiding the insurrection."

They continued, "Immediately impeach Acting Authority Choi Sangmok, who is condoning the dangerous suspension of constitutional order through unconstitutional abuse of power," and argued, "Acting Authority Choi committed unconstitutional and illegal acts by refusing to appoint the Constitutional Court justice recommended by the National Assembly."
Furthermore, they added, "While the entire nation is in mourning due to the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster, Choi Sangmok is exploiting this to justify his acts of aiding the insurrection," and stressed, "We must overcome the national disaster and the suspension of constitutional order through power and politics that are trusted by and recognized as legitimate by the people."
