Threat of 'Explosive Device Installation' at People Power Party Headquarters... No Hazardous Materials Found
A threatening fax claiming that an explosive device would be planted at the People Power Party headquarters was sent, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 2nd around noon that they conducted a search for explosives at the People Power Party central headquarters in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The search involved the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency special forces, about 20 officers from the Yeongdeungpo Police Station's security division, and two detection dogs. No hazardous materials or unusual items were found.
