Linking Various Support Projects Including Assistance for Vulnerable Groups in Geumcheon-gu
Officials at Geumcheon District Office announced that they donated 60 million won, collected over one year, to the ‘2025 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign’.
This donation was raised by employees participating in the ‘Geumcheon Happiness Sharing Employee Sponsorship Project,’ contributing a fixed amount each month. The employees have been continuously carrying out the sponsorship project to help neighbors in need within the local community, donating over 60 million won annually.
The funds collected through the project were entrusted to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea. They will be used for various programs supporting vulnerable groups such as crisis households in the district’s blind spots, elderly living alone, people with disabilities, and single-parent families.
Yoo Seong-hoon, head of Geumcheon District Office, said, “Through the Geumcheon Happiness Sharing Sponsorship Project, we will establish a public service culture dedicated to serving neighbors in the community and strive to make the value of sharing spread throughout the local society.”
