Hanam City plans to carry out this project, which discovers and supports neighbors facing economic difficulties until March, to prevent crisis situations where people fall into welfare blind spots due to not receiving welfare services despite hardships.
The main projects of 'Bok+Segwon Hanam' include ▲planning discovery of single-person crisis households using the Happy e-um welfare blind spot discovery system utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) ▲promotion of discovering crisis households among housing vulnerable groups such as rental apartments ▲promotion of welfare blind spots in local senior centers ▲‘One More Consultation’ for basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty investigation households ▲discovery of crisis households among elderly job participants ▲capacity-building education for honorary welfare officers ▲activation of the emergency welfare crisis counseling call center, among others.
Hanam City plans to analyze 46 types of crisis sign data such as electricity, gas, and health insurance fee arrears through the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Happy e-um system to discover target households and then conduct detailed investigations.
In addition, activities to discover crisis households living in rental apartments, goshiwon (small room accommodations), and jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) will be promoted, and the ‘One More Consultation’ program will be conducted to discover and support households among basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty applicants who need integrated case management and service linkage.
Along with this, education to strengthen the capacity to discover welfare blind spots will be provided to about 200 honorary welfare officers, and the emergency welfare crisis counseling call center (hotline) will be activated through various promotions using banners and electronic bulletin boards.
Hanam City plans to connect the discovered crisis households with public resources such as emergency welfare and basic livelihood security, and also provide sponsored goods using private resources.
