"Taking Off His Shirt and Enjoying the Party"... 'Poor Service Allegations' Song Minho Spotted in Gangwon-do
Song Minho Spotted at DJ Party in Goseong, Gangwon Province Last Year
Controversy has arisen over Winner member Song Min-ho, who has been accused of poor military service, after eyewitness reports surfaced that he attended a party held last year in Goseong, Gangwon Province.
On the 27th, Dispatch reported that Song Min-ho traveled around Goseong and Yangyang in Gangwon Province last August, enjoying camping and parties, and released several photos. In the photos, Song Min-ho was seen attending a DJ party held in Goseong, Gangwon Province, socializing with people. At the time, Song Min-ho had messy long hair, was shirtless, and wore only shorts. Tattoos such as 'Bareun Jase' (Correct Posture) and 'Malgeun Jeongsin' (Clear Mind) were visible on his back. A party attendee told the media, "Song Min-ho drank alcohol and smoked while enjoying the party."
There are also testimonies that Song Min-ho has been building his body with a running crew. A running crew is a club where several people gather to run together. It is known that he recently challenged himself to complete a 20 km run. However, this contrasts with his previous behavior during his alternative service period, when he took multiple sick leaves citing panic disorder and social phobia, which is expected to cause further controversy.
Meanwhile, Song Min-ho served as a social service agent at a facility in Mapo-gu, Seoul, from March last year until he finished his duty on the 23rd. However, on the 17th, reports emerged suspecting that he did not properly perform his duties, prompting a police investigation.
The Mapo Police Station registered Song Min-ho as a suspect on the 23rd after receiving a request for investigation from the Military Manpower Administration. The police will review the contents of the Military Manpower Administration's request and determine whether Song Min-ho violated the Military Service Act. It is reported that the Military Manpower Administration's stance is that if the police investigation confirms issues with Song Min-ho's service attitude, even if his discharge has been completed, the discharge can be revoked and he must re-enlist for the problematic period.
