Over the years, KORAIL has been highly evaluated for operating related systems to support childbirth, child-rearing and education, flexible working hours, support for employees and their dependents, and fostering a family-friendly workplace culture.
In particular, since last year, KORAIL has solidified its position as a family-friendly company by actively encouraging male employees to take parental leave. As a result, last year, the utilization rate of parental leave among male employees reached 55%, surpassing that of female employees for the first time.
Starting this year, KORAIL has expanded its childbirth encouragement policies by increasing the congratulatory allowance for the birth of a second child and granting additional paid family care leave days proportional to the number of children.
