'Deadpool' Wife Who Filed Sexual Harassment Complaint Against Co-star... Support Continues in Hollywood
Lawsuit Filed Against Justin Baldoni for Sexual Harassment and Defamation Charges
Hollywood actress Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, the director and co-star of the film It Ends with Us, accusing him of sexual harassment and defamation. Fellow directors and actors have expressed their support for Lively.
On the 24th, Yonhap News, citing foreign media including the British daily The Guardian, reported that colleagues have shown solidarity and support following the news of Lively's lawsuit.

She also revealed that when she tried to expose the issue, Justin Baldoni and the production company orchestrated a promotional campaign to manipulate public opinion on online communities and social media to defame her.
After the lawsuit, original novel author Colleen Hoover posted on Instagram, "Never change. Never get tired." Paul Feig, director of A Simple Favor, in which Lively starred, stated on his X (formerly Twitter) that the smear campaign against Lively is unfair and said, "I think it’s terrible that she has had to go through this."
Actors America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn also released a statement saying, “We stand in solidarity with Blake Lively as she fights against the campaign to defame her.”
Amber Heard, who previously engaged in a defamation lawsuit with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, appeared on NBC and pointed out that “social media is a place where lies become truth.” She also claimed that Justin Baldoni’s publicist is the same person who was hired during Johnny Depp’s legal battles.
In response, Justin Baldoni and the production company’s lawyers stated that Lively’s lawsuit is “an attempt to fix her negative reputation during the film’s promotional period” and argued that “Blake Lively’s claims are false, absurd, and exaggerated with the intent to publicly harm Justin Baldoni and the production company.”
Furthermore, Baldoni’s attorney Brian Friedman denied all allegations, calling it “a desperate attempt by Lively to recover from the negative reputation she caused during the film’s promotion.”
