On the 24th, the Financial Services Commission held its 22nd meeting and deliberated and approved the designation of Daishin Securities as a comprehensive financial investment business operator with a capital of over 3 trillion won.
Daishin Securities applied for designation as a comprehensive financial investment business operator with a capital of over 3 trillion won, capable of conducting corporate credit extension operations.
The Financial Services Commission determined that Daishin Securities met all legal requirements, including capital of over 3 trillion won, personnel and physical facilities, and conflict of interest prevention systems, and designated it as a comprehensive financial investment business operator.

Currently, there are five comprehensive financial investment business operators with capital over 3 trillion won, including Daishin Securities, Shinhan Investment, Meritz, Hana, and Kiwoom Securities, and five ultra-large investment banks (IBs) capable of issuing commercial paper with capital over 4 trillion won, including Mirae Asset, NH Investment, Korea Investment, Samsung, and KB Securities.
