Eastspring, Didim Global Leaders 40 Securities Investment Trust Surpasses 20 Billion KRW in Net Assets
Eastspring Asset Management Korea recently announced on the 19th that the 'Eastspring Didim Global Leaders 40 Securities Investment Trust' has surpassed 20 billion KRW in net assets.
Eastspring Asset Management joined as the only foreign asset management company in the Didim Fund joint brand, which was launched on September 25th through collaboration among 25 asset management firms led by the Korea Financial Investment Association. After adjusting the investment strategy of the existing 'Eastspring Global Leaders 40 Securities Investment Trust' to meet the Didim Fund criteria, the name was updated to include 'Didim.'
The Didim Fund is structured to invest separately in profitable assets such as stocks and safe assets such as government bonds. It offers better returns than principal-guaranteed products like deposits and savings but is more stability-oriented compared to TDFs (Target Date Funds) or ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds).
The Eastspring Didim Global Leaders 40 Securities Investment Trust, established on May 2, 2007, has demonstrated excellent performance over a long period. As of the 18th, it recorded a cumulative return of 118.95% since inception and a cumulative return of 14.25% year-to-date.
The Eastspring Didim Global Leaders 40 Securities Investment Trust has recently received positive market responses by surpassing 20 billion KRW in net assets. From the fund’s initial establishment until September this year, before the Didim Fund branding, the fund saw an increase of approximately 8.4 billion KRW in assets under management, while more than 4.5 billion KRW of new capital flowed in within about two months after the branding, accounting for over half of the existing assets.
The Eastspring Didim Global Leaders 40 Securities Investment Trust is a bond-mixed fund that diversifies investments across domestic and international assets, with an approximate stock-to-bond ratio of 4 to 6. As of the end of November this year, the portfolio is managed focusing on stocks of globally high-growth and high-profitability companies such as NVIDIA, Amazon, and Intuitive Surgical, along with domestic government and public bonds.
Park Cheon-ung, CEO of Eastspring Asset Management, stated, "Surpassing 20 billion KRW in net assets for the Eastspring Didim Global Leaders 40 Securities Investment Trust is a valuable achievement created by our company’s long-term management capabilities and customer trust." He added, "We will continue to repay this trust with differentiated investment strategies and consistent performance to serve as a solid stepping stone for our customers’ retirement preparations."
