Democrats Establish 'Wolgeup Defense Corps'... "Tax System Improvement and Livelihood Vitality"
The Democratic Party of Korea announced on the 18th that it will establish a non-permanent special committee within the party called the 'Wolgeup Defense Corps' to revive the vitality of the people's livelihood economy. Han Jeong-ae was appointed as the chairperson, and Im Gwang-hyun as the secretary.
The Wolgeup Defense Corps plans to redesign the unfair tax system for salaried workers and strengthen support for them.
This is interpreted as an intention to expand the support base by promoting the policy stance of 'Meoksanism' advocated by Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party.
