Exchange to Host 2024 Professional Evaluation Agency Workshop and Awards Ceremony
The Korea Exchange announced on the 13th that it held a specialized evaluation agency workshop and the '2024 Excellent Specialized Evaluation Agency Awards Ceremony' at its Seoul headquarters conference hall.
Designed to enhance the expertise of technology evaluations and provide incentives to specialized evaluation agencies, this event featured presentations by specialized evaluation agencies and the Korea Exchange on major evaluation cases by industry and the current status of the specialized evaluation system. Additionally, key issues and evaluation focal points for each case were introduced to share technology evaluation methodologies from various perspectives.
At this event, based on qualitative and quantitative evaluation results regarding evaluation organization, participation, and evaluation quality, two companies, NICE Information Service and the Korea Invention Promotion Association, were selected as this year’s excellent specialized evaluation agencies.
Min Kyung-wook, head of the KOSDAQ Market Division at the Korea Exchange, stated, “The technology special listing system is the representative listing track of the KOSDAQ market in name and reality,” and added, “As interest from companies and investors in technology special listings is rising recently, fair and professional technology evaluations by specialized evaluation agencies are necessary.”
