This mock drill was promoted to protect public officials from the increasing verbal abuse and assault by malicious complainants, prevent secondary damage to visiting complainants, and improve on-site response capabilities.
The training assumed various complaint scenarios and consisted of ▲ inducing complainants to calm down ▲ active intervention by superiors ▲ on-site filming with wearable cameras after prior notice ▲ activation of emergency bells (connected to 112 police) and calling security police ▲ protection of public officials and visiting complainants ▲ sanctioning of offending complainants ▲ and handing over to the police.
In addition, education was conducted on the use of wearable cameras distributed to civil affairs desk staff, standards for using portable protective equipment, and response guidelines for different types of unusual complaints.
