Supporting Local Economic Vitality Through Cashback Operations
The 'Cheonan Sarang Card' was selected as the number one news story that shined in Cheonan this year.
According to the city on the 9th, an online survey for the 'Top 10 News Stories' was conducted from November 25 to December 6. A total of 7,564 Cheonan citizens participated in the vote, and as a result, the Cheonan Sarang Card, chosen by 9.2% of participants, ranked first.
The city has been operating the Cheonan Sarang Card cashback flexibly to revitalize the local economy. In addition, this year, the city promoted an additional 5% cashback for Good Price Stores and introduced extra cashback for Alleyway Shopping Districts.
Other top news included attracting 6 trillion won in corporate investment, confirmation of the GTX-C Cheonan extension, Bbangbbang Day, and the Cheonan Heungtaryeong Dance Festival.
Cheonan Mayor Park Sangdon said, "This achievement was made possible by the active support and trust of citizens, along with the efforts of over 2,500 public officials," adding, "Next year, we will do our best to enhance the quality of life for citizens and create a better living environment."
