Education Advancement '2024 Policy Council Signing Ceremony'
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education held the '2024 Policy Council Signing Ceremony' on the 27th at the main office's conference room, with both labor and management representatives from the Jeonnam Teachers' Labor Union in attendance.
At the policy council, both parties agreed on 28 agenda items, including ▲restoration of teachers' core duties and improvement of working conditions ▲improvement of the teacher personnel system ▲protection of educational activities ▲operation of Neulbom Schools.

The negotiations particularly focused on restoring the essence and duties of teachers and resolving problems demanded by the field.
At the meeting, Chairman Kim Sinan stated, “Jeonnam has the highest mid-term resignation rate among teachers with less than five years of service nationwide,” and emphasized, “It is necessary to create a school culture and educational environment where teachers can take pride and devote themselves to student education.”
