Eunpyeong-gu to Recruit Over 5,600 Participants for Senior Job Program Starting the 25th
Applications Accepted Until the 13th of Next Month · 99 Projects Underway
Seoul Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced on the 22nd that it will recruit 5,687 participants for the ‘2025 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project’ from the 25th of this month until the 13th of next month.
The 2025 Senior Job Project has increased by 4% compared to 2024, and a total of 99 projects will be carried out by 12 implementing organizations.
The Senior Job Project aims to expand the economic stability and social participation of the elderly and to build a community of coexistence through various public interest activities within the local community.
Seniors aged 60 or older who wish to participate can apply by visiting senior job implementing organizations such as Eunpyeong Senior Club, the Korean Senior Citizens Association Eunpyeong Branch, and local senior welfare centers with their ID and resident registration certificate. However, for the Golmok Harabeoji (Neighborhood Grandfather) program, applications can be made through the respective neighborhood community service center.
The types of projects available for application include Senior Public Interest Activity Projects, Senior Capacity Utilization Projects, Community Project Groups, and Employment Support (Employment Referral Type). Age, working hours, and activity allowances vary depending on the type, so please refer to the poster.
The selection criteria are based on the highest scores according to type, including recognized income amount, activity capability, and household composition. Recipients of livelihood benefits, health insurance workplace subscribers, long-term care insurance grade assessors, and participants in job projects from other ministries are excluded from selection.
