Yangju City to Conduct Hygiene Training for General Restaurants on the 29th
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 18th that it will hold the '2024 General Restaurant Hygiene Education' on the 29th at the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center Auditorium.
Organized by the Yangju Branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association Northern Gyeonggi Province Chapter (Branch Chief Choi Woon-jin), this education will be conducted twice for about 1,000 existing business operators (1st session from 9 AM to 12 PM, 2nd session from 2 PM to 5 PM).
This mandatory legal education, which food hygiene business operators must complete annually, will cover explanations of the Food Sanitation Act and policy directions necessary for operating general restaurants, food safety management, food poisoning education, and hygiene management guidelines for preventing safety accidents in establishments.
Additionally, through explanations of the Food Sanitation Act and hygiene policies, the education aims to encourage the improvement of hygiene standards in restaurants, and will also cover the restaurant certification system hygiene grading system and good diet table setting.
