Yeongyang-gun Conducts Customer Service Courtesy Training for Food Service Business Operators
Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk, held a special training session on customer service etiquette and friendly service practices for over 100 general restaurant operators at the Yeongyang Culture and Sports Center on the 13th.

View original imageThis training was conducted with the recognition that, in order for Yeongyang-gun to develop into an ecological tourist destination utilizing attractions such as the birch forest, which boasts the largest scale nationwide, and the Posan-ri Janggu Megi Wetland, a national wetland protection area designated by the Ministry of Environment, friendly customer service at dining establishments for visitors is of utmost importance along with sightseeing. Therefore, the training focused on teaching friendly service techniques to provide customer satisfaction.
The training was held in the form of a concert rather than a lecture, and included role-playing involving the operators on how to warmly welcome customers and provide courteous service, making the training more effective in promoting friendly service practices among the operators.
An operator who attended the training, Mr. ‘k’, said, “Receiving the training in a concert format was more engaging, and I believe I will be able to offer more detailed and friendly service to customers visiting my establishment in the future.”
