A fire broke out in a six-story multi-family house in Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, injuring 11 people.
According to the fire authorities on the 12th, the fire occurred at around 3:26 a.m. at a multi-family house located in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

View original imageAs a result of the fire, three residents were seriously injured and eight sustained minor injuries; they were transported to the hospital. Nineteen residents who evacuated to the house and rooftop were rescued by the fire authorities.
The fire authorities deployed 175 personnel and 50 pieces of equipment and completely extinguished the fire at around 5:35 a.m., about two hours after the report was received.

The fire authorities believe the fire started from a vehicle in the parking lot on the first floor of the building and are investigating the exact ignition point and details of the incident.
