View original imageOn the 7th, Buk-gu, Gwangju announced that it will hold the "Let's All Play Together, Multicultural Festival" event at the Buk-gu Sports Complex from 1 to 4 p.m. on the 10th.
The Multicultural Festival event was organized to promote harmony between multicultural families and local residents and to provide residents with opportunities to experience the cultures of various countries, thereby fostering understanding of multiculturalism.
Hosted by the Buk-gu Family Center, this event, themed "Not Difference but Diversity," will be attended by about 500 people including multicultural families, foreigners, and local residents, featuring a commemorative ceremony and a communication and harmony session.
The commemorative ceremony will proceed in the order of a parade by flag bearers from 11 countries, awards for meritorious persons, commemorative photos, and a lucky draw. In the communication and harmony session, there will be performances of traditional Cambodian dance and modern dance, followed by a mini sports day where all participating families can enjoy together.
Additionally, various side events such as booths for experiencing traditional foods and traditional games from around the world, an exhibition of the Buk-gu Family Center’s achievements, and an Anabada market will be prepared.
