Former U.S. House Speaker Pelosi of the Democratic Party Achieves 20th Term Success

Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and prominent Democratic politician Nancy Pelosi has won her 20th term in the federal House of Representatives election.
On the 6th (local time), the Associated Press reported that former Speaker Pelosi won against Republican candidate Bruce Low in California's 11th congressional district election, held alongside the U.S. presidential election.
According to The New York Times (NYT), with 45% of the votes counted in the district, Pelosi secured 81.1% of the vote, far ahead of Low's 18.9%.
Pelosi was first elected to the federal House of Representatives in a special election for California's 5th congressional district in 1987, and has won all 20 elections since then in the 8th, 12th, and now the 11th districts.
She was elected as the first female Speaker of the House in 2007 and served for four years, and was again elected Speaker in 2019, serving another four years.
