Dongducheon City Cracks Down on License Plate Violations and Illegal Tuning, Detecting 19 Cases
Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) and the Northern Gyeonggi Branch of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority announced on the 6th that they conducted a joint crackdown on vehicles violating the Automobile Management Act in the Dongducheon area on the 5th. This crackdown was carried out as part of efforts to eradicate illegal vehicles on the road and prevent traffic accidents.

As a result of the crackdown, out of 150 vehicles inspected, 19 violations were detected, including 9 safety standard violations, 8 license plate violations, and 2 cases of illegal tuning. According to the city, actions will be taken in accordance with relevant laws regarding the violations.
