June 6-8, UECO Hosts 500 Booths from 460 Domestic and International Organizations and Companies
Secondary Batteries, Artificial Intelligence, Future Energy: A Comprehensive View of Cutting-Edge Technologies and Industries
Ulsan City will hold the "Ulsan World Advanced Vision Expo 2024" at UECO from the 6th to the 8th, showcasing cutting-edge technologies of Ulsan's key industries and new industries on a large scale.
The Ulsan World Advanced Vision Expo (WAVE) symbolizes the wave of innovation that started in Ulsan spreading worldwide.
This inaugural expo will feature 460 domestic and international organizations and companies, with major participants including Samsung SDI, Hyundai Motor Company, SK Energy, S-Oil, Korea Zinc, and LS MnM.
The expo is organized into five themed halls: ▲U-BATTERY TECH+ ▲Neuron AI+ ▲Intelligent Mobility (Smart Mobility) ▲Future Energy ▲Startup Companies, introducing various advanced technologies such as electric vehicle batteries, AI-based future industries, autonomous vehicles, hydrogen energy, and emerging startups.
The "U-BATTERY TECH+ Hall" will exhibit actual products and technologies covering the entire secondary battery lifecycle. Key companies in electric vehicle battery production such as Samsung SDI, Korea Zinc with its secondary battery material smelting technology, and LS MnM will participate in the exhibition.
The "Neuron AI+ Hall" will showcase artificial intelligence (AI), information and communication technology (ICT), and extended virtual worlds (metaverse) promoted by Ulsan City. Exhibitors include Aimtory and Novatech, which have developed intelligent (smart) factory solutions utilizing AI.
The Intelligent Mobility (Smart Mobility) Hall will display hydrogen vehicles, electric vehicles, electric aircraft, and intelligent (smart) ships. Notably, Hyundai Motor Company, which has a production plant in Ulsan, will present hydrogen vehicles and hydrogen storage mobile chargers. Top Mobility, preparing for Asia's first electric aircraft certification, will exhibit an actual electric aircraft.
The Future Energy Hall will feature renewable energy such as hydrogen and distributed energy, as well as petrochemical-related exhibits. In addition to major Ulsan conglomerates SK Energy and S-Oil, Dutch energy companies' research achievements in hydrogen and batteries will also be displayed through the Embassy of the Netherlands in Korea.
The Startup Companies Hall will promote companies selected through startup nurturing programs by the Ulsan Free Economic Zone Authority and the Korea Workers' Compensation & Welfare Service.
Alongside the expo, various programs such as international forums, export consultations, and investment briefings will be held to promote global business and expand industrial infrastructure.
Visitors can attend by pre-registration or on-site registration. Those who pre-register on the expo website by November 5 will receive the benefit of fast entry without waiting on-site.

An official from Ulsan City emphasized, "The Ulsan World Advanced Vision Expo (WAVE) 2024 will be an important stage presenting the development and vision of future new growth industries," and added, "We ask for active participation and interest from related company officials and workers."
