Damyang County announced on the 30th that it held the October town and township chiefs meeting on the 29th at Myeonangjeong Room in the county office, presided over by County Governor Lee Byeong-no, to discuss major pending projects.
At the meeting, they discussed key issues such as participation in the integrity evaluation survey for all employees, promotion plans for the Hometown Love Donation Program, and changes to the Santa Festival.
Governor Lee Byeong-no said at the meeting, "Following last year's achievement of ranking first nationwide in fundraising for the Hometown Love Donation Program, please encourage participation by promoting small donations to office workers in November and December ahead of year-end tax settlements, utilizing various personal networks." He added, "Please also do your best to promote the change of the main stage for the Santa Festival, the operation of car-free streets during the festival period, and the coupon refund for tourist attraction admission tickets."
