Catholic University and Andong National University Sign Agreement for Cultivating Talent in Culture and Arts
Joint Research on Culture and Arts Underway
Catholic University and Andong National University collaborate to cultivate innovative talents in culture and arts.
According to Catholic University on the 29th, on the 25th, the Department of Performing Arts and Culture at the Graduate School of Catholic University and the Department of Cultural Convergence Contents at the Graduate School of Korean Cultural Industry of Andong National University signed a memorandum of understanding for mutual cooperation in cultivating innovative talents in culture and arts and international joint research.
Through this memorandum of understanding, both institutions promised to actively cooperate for the development of the culture and arts field by ▲conducting joint research on common areas of interest related to culture and arts domestically and internationally ▲exchanging human and material resources ▲developing cultural and artistic programs to solve industrial and social problems ▲sharing performance and cultural events promoted by each university.

Following the signing ceremony, the first jointly hosted event, the '2024 Art Convergence Week Academic Festival,' was held at the International Exchange Hall of Andong National University. Academic presentations and discussions were conducted on in-depth topics such as "The effect of Chinese audience satisfaction with K-POP online performances and loyalty to idols on the (re)purchase intention of online performances."

Kim Inseol, head of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture at Catholic University, said, “The mutual cooperation agreement between Catholic University and Andong National University will be an opportunity to join forces in the field of culture and arts,” adding, “We hope it will be realized in concrete outcomes such as practical exchange programs for master's and doctoral students of the two universities, joint research, and joint academic events.”
