‘Joining Hands for Women’s Safety Guardian Activities’… Dongmyung University Human Rights Center and Women’s Emergency Hotline 1366 Busan Center Agreement
Dongmyung University Human Rights Center has taken a strong step forward for the safe lives of women by partnering with the Women's Emergency Hotline 1366 Busan Center.
On the 28th, Dongmyung University Human Rights Center signed a business agreement with the Women's Emergency Hotline 1366 Busan Center at the Busan Ijen Center to establish a cooperative system for preventing violence against women and supporting victims.
The two organizations agreed to closely cooperate in various fields, including protection and support projects for victims of violence against women, and human exchange and networking related to victim protection and support.
They also decided to join efforts to create a safe campus culture free from violence through the development and operation of prevention education programs targeting university students.
Bae Su-gyeong, Director of the Women's Emergency Hotline 1366 Busan Center, said, "I am pleased that we can further strengthen the support system for various victims of violence and expand prevention education for university students," adding, "We will do our best to create a safe life together with the local community."
