Suncheon High School Hosts Yeosun '10·19 Peace and Human Rights Golden Bell' Quiz Competition
Student Council Led... "A Time to Realize the Importance of Patriotism and Democracy"
Suncheon High School announced on the 25th that it held the ‘10·19 Peace and Human Rights Golden Bell’ event on the 24th at the school gymnasium, with about 500 first- and second-year students participating.
The event was part of the Autonomous Public High School 2.0 project and was organized to accurately inform about the Yeosu-Suncheon 10·19 Incident and to enhance understanding of the local community.

The event was led by the student council and added significance as a patriotic event honoring the victims. In particular, students increased their engagement by presenting research on the Yeosu-Suncheon Incident.
Student Council President Kim Hyun-seok said, “We deeply learned about the painful history of our region, and it was a time for students to realize the importance of patriotism and democracy. I hope that interest in local history will increase through events like this.”
