Niigata Economic Association in Japan Visits Daegu Chamber of Commerce... "If We Share Know-How, We Can Both Win-Win"
The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Park Yoon-kyung) announced that the Niigata Economic Friendship Association, one of Japan's three major economic organizations, visited the Daegu Chamber of Commerce on the afternoon of the 21st. This was the first visit by the Niigata Economic Friendship Association to Daegu. The three major economic organizations in Japan are known to be the Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Economic Organizations, and the Economic Friendship Association.
The visiting delegation included Norio Yoshida (Representative Secretary of Niigata Kubota Co., Ltd.), Yutaka Watanabe (Chairman of International Strategy, TOWA JAPAN Co., Ltd.), Yumi Kimura (Seibu Trading Co., Ltd.), Katsuro Takahashi (Atago Trading Co., Ltd.), Shigeaki Nomizu (International Strategy Vice Chairman, Twinbird Co., Ltd.), Takashi Uono (Uoshoku Co., Ltd.), Yasushi Morii (Morii Jigikogyo Co., Ltd.), Deputy Secretaries, as well as figures from the local education sector and newspaper companies. The Daegu Chamber of Commerce was represented by Sang-gun Lee (Senior Vice Chairman), Jong-won Lee (Vice Chairman, HS Hwaseong Co., Ltd.), and other executives, who exchanged opinions with the delegation.

In particular, Shigeaki Nomizu, International Strategy Vice Chairman who attended the meeting, mentioned that his company, Twinbird Co., Ltd., produces cold transport devices for COVID-19 vaccines, and suggested potential collaboration with the local medical industry.
Sang-gun Lee, Senior Vice Chairman of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce, said, “Daegu is currently accelerating the transition to future new industrial structures, and if we take this opportunity to share various contents and know-how and cooperate, both sides can achieve a win-win outcome,” adding, “Let us continue to meet regularly.”
