Customized Training by Company and Civil Complaint Case Focus
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam is making every effort to improve city bus services through various policies to enhance the services that citizens can directly experience.
According to the city on the 21st, moving away from the one-sided education method using existing textbooks, customized education based on complaint analysis by company and complaint type will be implemented. The city, transportation companies, and transportation workers will work together to find ways to reduce complaints and enhance the capabilities of transportation workers.
By publishing a booklet of courteous and discourteous cases, the city is focusing on improving the friendliness and service of city buses by establishing standards for on-site response and complaint resolution through analysis of various complaint cases occurring in the field, thereby resolving chronic bus complaints.
In addition, to create a convenient and clean bus usage environment, the city is expanding bus information terminals and low-floor buses and promoting improvements to bus stop facilities. Efforts are being made to improve city bus services through the establishment of an ultra-precise bus service that collects and provides bus location information every 3 seconds, and the introduction of a contactless payment system called Tagless, building a more convenient and differentiated public transportation system.
Along with this, the city is promoting the activation of public transportation use by citizens through ▲ operating Bus Day every Wednesday ▲ a bi-monthly city bus traffic accident ZERO campaign ▲ and providing two free transfers on city buses.
In particular, starting from January 1 next year, the city is focusing on guaranteeing mobility rights and realizing transportation welfare for the elderly by making city bus rides completely free for those aged 75 and over.
