View original imageHollywood veteran actor Al Pacino (84), who welcomed his fourth son last year, shared an update saying he is "enjoying time with his 16-month-old son."
On the 15th (local time), Pacino revealed in an interview with the British BBC that he wrote his recent autobiography, Sonny Boy, with the hope that his son Roman would have the opportunity to learn about his father. He added, "I want to be by this child's side. I want him to stay healthy and know who his father is."
Pacino had Roman in June last year with Nur Alfallah (29), whom he was dating at the time. Although they no longer live together, they are known to be co-parenting. Custody belongs to Alfallah, and Pacino pays child support. He has regular visitation rights with his son.
He said Roman "sometimes sends texts" and that "everything the child does is genuine and interesting. So we communicate through video calls and even by playing the harmonica. These things are fun."
Having never been married, he has a daughter, Julie Marie (35), and twins Anton and Olivia (23) from two previous relationships. Pacino, who carries a phone case featuring a character from Shrek, said, "My youngest daughter Olivia gave me the case as a gift, and I have kept using it to make her happy," which attracted attention.
