Doosan Bobcat Completes Acquisition of Hydraulic Specialist Company 'Motrol'
Operated as a Separate Corporation
Doosan Bobcat announced on the 4th that it has completed the acquisition of Motrol, a domestic company specializing in hydraulic parts for heavy equipment.
Doosan Bobcat acquired 100% of Motrol's shares for 242.1 billion KRW and incorporated it as a subsidiary.
Motrol will continue independent management as a separate entity under the leadership of CEO Kwon Young-min, who has been leading the company since 2021.
Founded in 1974, Motrol was the first company in Korea to develop hydraulic equipment and holds the number one market share in domestic hydraulic parts.

Doosan Bobcat stated, "We have vertically integrated with Motrol, which possesses world-class products and technology in the core hydraulic field of industrial equipment," adding, "We plan to create synergy with Motrol while also aiming to expand Motrol's scale."
