Korea Student Aid Foundation Appoints Kang Junhee, Director of Lottery Commission, as Executive Director
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byungil) announced on the 4th that it has appointed Kang Junhee (57), former Director of the Lottery Issuance Management Division at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as the new Executive Director.
Executive Director Kang Junhee graduated from the Department of Science Education at Chungbuk National University and the Department of Law at Korea National Open University, and obtained a master's degree in Business Administration from Soongsil University. He has served as Director of the Investment Management Division at the Treasury Bureau of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Director of the Fund Project Division at the Lottery Commission Office, and Director of the Issuance Management Division.
The Korea Student Aid Foundation is a quasi-governmental agency established on May 7, 2009, based on the Act on the Establishment of the Korea Student Aid Foundation. Its main functions include supporting national scholarships and student loans, establishing and operating student welfare facilities such as university cooperative dormitories, raising donations, and supporting talent development.
