'6070 Nostalgic Street' is an alley connecting Anseongcheon Stream and the old downtown area. It was once popular as the 'Soejeon Street,' but lost its vibrancy due to rapid modernization and the hollowing out of the old downtown.
This event was organized through collaboration between the Rural-Urban Exchange Support Center and the Urban Regeneration Support Center along with the alley merchants of Nostalgic Street. It attracted attention by offering visitors various food options, experiential programs, exhibitions of the nostalgic street, and performances.
A citizen from Gondo-eup said, "Enjoying a variety of affordable foods in the alley, including busking performances, was very enjoyable and lively."
Kim Bora, mayor of Anseong City, stated, "Taking this event as an opportunity, we will continue to invest in tourism resources and projects to revive the depressed alley commercial district and preserve the cultural value of Nostalgic Street."
