Personal Information Protection Commission and French Data Protection Authority Hold AI Policy Council Meeting
The Personal Information Protection Commission announced on the 27th that it held the 3rd Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Consultation Meeting with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libert?s (CNIL), in Paris, France.
Through this event, the Personal Information Protection Commission exchanged information on the key contents of the AI risk assessment model currently being promoted and the considerations for deploying generative AI recently released by CNIL.
Since signing a memorandum of understanding, the Personal Information Protection Commission and CNIL have been holding regular AI policy consultation meetings. Earlier in May, they jointly produced a webtoon poster to raise awareness among children and adolescents on the theme of personal information protection.
