Continuing Field-Centered Management with the Seventh Roundtable Meeting
On the 27th, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced that as part of its field-oriented management, it held an on-site meeting with 22 representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in Honam at the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The SME representatives attending the meeting expressed various opinions, including difficulties in business management due to financial cost burdens and labor shortages, as well as the need to support companies with excellent technological capabilities.
At the meeting, Bank President Kim Seong-tae stated, “We will prioritize supporting SMEs in overcoming crises by actively expanding both financial and non-financial support, and we will do our best to support the regional economy’s resurgence as well as foster innovative and startup companies.” Prior to the meeting, President Kim visited a branch office in Gwangju Metropolitan City to encourage employees and listen to on-site difficulties.

Meanwhile, this year, IBK has been continuously striving to support SMEs in overcoming crises and achieving a new leap forward by preparing livelihood financial support measures to alleviate the financial cost burden on self-employed and small business owners, as well as a special program to reduce financial costs for small corporations facing management difficulties due to economic downturn and high interest rates.
