'Science Experiences Even in Island Areas' Science Museum Going to Islands
Ministry of Science and ICT - Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity Hold Traveling Science Museum Events in 5 Provinces
The Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Yu Sang-im), the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity (Chairman Jo Yullae), and the Korea Science Museum Association (President Kwon Seok-min) announced on the 26th that they will hold the second half of the year "Visiting Science Museum" events in five island regions.
"Visiting Science Museum" is an event that tours science culture marginalized and vulnerable areas where access to science culture facilities such as science museums is difficult, allowing participants to experience various science culture contents such as science experiments, science practice, and science performances all in one place. Especially this year, in connection with the ‘Visiting Science Culture Voucher,’ a science magic concert that adds imagination and fun to science is held to provide more diverse experience opportunities to science culture marginalized areas and disadvantaged groups.
The events will be held on a tour basis from September 23 to November 4 in five island regions: Nohwado, Geogeumdo, Geumhodo, Wando, and Jindo.
