Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's 'International Conference Status Survey' Approved as National Statistics
"Enabling the Establishment of Effective MICE Promotion Policies"
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 26th that the "International Conference Status Survey," which identifies the scale of international conferences and the status of businesses, has been approved as a national statistic.
The International Conference Status Survey is a statistic that investigates and analyzes basic data necessary for establishing policies to promote the international conference industry, targeting international conference hosting facilities (businesses). It covers the status of international conference hosting, employees and operational status, methods of developing international conference markets, and difficulties encountered. The results will be published at the end of December through the National Statistics Portal and the Korea Tourism Data Lab of the Korea Tourism Organization.
