Woman Found on Bridge Visited for Music Video Filming
Legendary rockstar Jon Bon Jovi (62) has been revealed to have saved the life of a woman who was about to make an extreme choice on a bridge railing.
On the 11th (local time), foreign media including CNN and AP reported that the previous night, Jon Bon Jovi, lead vocalist of the rock band 'Bon Jovi,' persuaded and saved a woman who was about to jump into the river from a pedestrian-only bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
That day, Bon Jovi had come to the bridge to shoot a music video. While crossing the bridge with his production team colleagues, he noticed a woman standing precariously outside the bridge railing, holding onto the railing with both hands and looking at the river. Bon Jovi and his colleagues cautiously approached the woman, greeting her with a wave, and talked with her for about a minute. Afterwards, the woman changed her mind, and the two lifted her back inside the railing to ensure her safety. Shortly after, a scene was captured of Bon Jovi giving the woman a tight hug.
This scene was fully captured on CCTV footage released by the Nashville Police Department. The Nashville Police shared the video on social media, expressing gratitude to Bon Jovi and his team for helping the woman, stating, "Bon Jovi played a significant role in persuading her to safely come down from the bridge railing." Jon Drake, chief of the Nashville Police Department, said, "We all need to help each other to protect our safety."
The rescued woman was reportedly transported to a local hospital for treatment and diagnosis.
