Winner of the Grand Prize in the Banking App Category... First Domestic Bank at the Global Fintech Awards
IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 12th that its i-ONE Bank won the 'Best Financial Mobile App' award in the Mobile Banking App category at the '2024 Finovate Awards' hosted by Finovate in New York, USA, on the 10th (local time).
The 'Finovate Awards' is a world-class fintech competition where financial institutions and fintech companies from around the globe participate to present, demonstrate, and exhibit the latest technologies and products in the fintech sector. Each year, awards are given to companies that achieve outstanding results in about 20 different categories.
IBK Industrial Bank won the award for the first time as a domestic bank in the global fintech awards' mobile banking category, surpassing strong finalists such as BNP Paribas, JP Morgan AWM, Finom, Payactiv, and Quicken.
IBK’s i-ONE Bank was highly evaluated for creating an excellent customer experience by continuously enhancing functions and design (UX/UI), security, and usability since the launch of i-ONE Bank 2.0 in May 2019, and by expanding services utilizing fintech technologies such as open banking and MyData.
