Chungnam Nonghyup Donates Funds and Supplies for Heavy Rain Damage Recovery
On the 11th, Chungnam Nonghyup donated cash and goods worth approximately 670 million won to support recovery efforts from heavy rain damage in the Chungnam region.
At the donation ceremony held at the provincial government office, attendees included Governor Kim Taeheum, Baek Namseong, Head of the Chungnam Sejong Regional Headquarters of Nonghyup, Park Jangsoon, Head of the Chungnam Regional Headquarters of Nonghyup Bank, and Moon Eunsu, President of the Chungnam branch of the Korean Red Cross.
The province plans to distribute the 100 million won in donations and 1,100 refrigerators received on this day to residents affected by flooding.
Governor Kim expressed his gratitude, saying, "I would like to thank Chungnam Nonghyup for taking the initiative to share and support local residents and farmers who are struggling due to heavy rain damage ahead of the Chuseok holiday," and added, "We will do our best to help affected residents return to their daily lives as quickly as possible."
