The Korea Communications Commission, together with the Korea Communications Standards Commission and the Korea Viewer Media Foundation, will jointly hold an "Expert Forum on Countermeasures Against Deepfake Sexual Crime Videos" at 3 p.m. on the 12th at the 3rd floor conference hall of the Broadcasting Center in Mokdong, Seoul.
This forum, themed "Deepfake Sexual Crime Videos Out - Diagnosis of Current Issues and Seeking Countermeasures," will involve domestic experts from government ministries, academia, and related organizations.
The discussion will diagnose the current status of deepfake sexual crimes by addressing the dysfunctions of artificial intelligence, directions for legal and institutional improvements, and strategies for responding to deepfake sexual crime videos, aiming to eradicate deepfake sexual crimes.
