View original imageThe Youth Gambling Eradication Challenge, which began in March, aims to raise awareness about the dangers of gambling and prevent the spread of illegal youth gambling. The campaign will continue until the 17th, which is designated as Gambling Addiction Expulsion Day.
President Ye was nominated as the next participant by Lee Hyogeun, Chairman of Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, and held the Youth Gambling Eradication Challenge performance at the bank's headquarters.
In particular, he delivered a message with employees in front of an LED display board showing the phrase, "Illegal cyber gambling targeting youth is a scam crime that you can never win."
President Ye stated, "Illegal cyber gambling encountered during adolescence is as dangerous as drug addiction, making it extremely difficult to escape once involved. Through this Youth Gambling Eradication Challenge, I plan to continue paying attention so that youth, the future of Korea, can grow up in a safe environment."
Meanwhile, prior to the Youth Gambling Eradication Challenge, President Ye participated in the 'Drug Eradication Campaign (NO EXIT)' last May to spread public will to eliminate drugs.
