View original imageThe 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) announced on the 10th that actors Seol Kyung-gu, Hwang Jung-min, Chun Woo-hee, and Park Bo-young have been selected as this year's main figures for the 'Actors House' program.
Now in its 4th year, Actors House is a festival program that deeply highlights actors' sincere stories and their artistic worlds. Seol Kyung-gu will meet audiences on the 3rd of next month at 12 PM, Park Bo-young on the 4th at 6 PM, Hwang Jung-min at 8 PM, and Chun Woo-hee on the 6th at 7 PM, all at the Shinsegae Department Store Centum City Branch Culture Hall.
Seol Kyung-gu has appeared in films such as Virgin's Dinner (1998), Oasis (2000), Public Enemy 1 and 2 (2002, 2005), Haeundae (2009), Joseon Exorcist (2021), and The Moon (2023). His leading role in the online streaming service (OTT) Netflix series Whirlwind was recently released, and the film Ordinary Family is set to premiere soon. Park Bo-young gained attention with the film
Hwang Jung-min attracted 10 million viewers with films such as Ode to My Father (2014), Veteran (2015), and Spring in Seoul (2023), and has appeared in A Violent Prosecutor, Asura (2016), The Spy Gone North (2018), and Deliver Us from Evil (2020). The film Veteran 2 is scheduled for release soon. Chun Woo-hee made her mark with the film Sunny (2011) and has appeared in Han Gong-ju (2014), The Wailing (2016), Anchor (2022), and the dramas Be Melodramatic (2019) and The Eight Show.

Proceeds from Actors House will be donated to the international child relief organization Save the Children. Reservations will be available on the festival website starting at 2 PM on the 24th.
