Exploring Ways to Activate Educational Support
Through Cooperation Between Namyangju City and Parents
Joo Gwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City, is giving a greeting speech at the 'Communication & Cooperation Workshop' for educational development held at a cafe located in Sampae-dong on the 9th.
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 10th that it held a 'Communication & Cooperation Workshop' for educational development with about 40 parents at a cafe located in Sampae-dong on the 9th.
This workshop was organized to strengthen the capabilities of parents, increase their participation in educational administration, and seek ways to revitalize educational support through cooperation between Namyangju City and parents.
A parent who attended the workshop said, "I am glad that during the 'Communication with the Mayor' session, we were able to explore various ways to provide a better educational environment for our children."
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok said, "Parents are the pacemakers for their children. Please run alongside them so that they can live a life of daily progress," and added, "Namyangju City will pave the way by utilizing local resources and expertise so that parents and children can run freely."

The city operates a Parent Academy to strengthen parental educational capabilities and expand educational participation, and plans to continue ongoing communication in the remaining four regions: Hwado-Sudong, Pyeongnae-Hopyeong, Jinjeop, and Jingeon-Toegyewon-Geumgok.
