Gangseo District announced on the 4th that on the afternoon of the 3rd, it held a related pledge ceremony attended by all senior officials at grade 5 and above in the district office’s main conference room.
Mayor Jin stated, “It is the responsibility and duty of senior officials to create a healthy organizational culture where employees respect and consider each other,” and urged, “Please make efforts to establish a culture of respect and consideration by thinking and acting from the employees’ perspective with a strong sense of responsibility.”
The district selected the ‘11 Pledges for All Employees’ through a survey to actively reflect the opinions of MZ generation public officials. These pledges include respecting and treating each other well, using honorific language and proper titles, giving reasonable work instructions, protecting employees from malicious complaints, and other measures aimed at fostering a healthy organizational culture and eradicating corruption.
Following the pledge ceremony, ‘Power Abuse Prevention and Anti-Corruption Education’ was conducted for senior officials. Through this, participants expanded their understanding of anti-corruption and integrity-related laws such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, and reinforced their commitment to integrity.
