Air Busan Employees Conduct 'Plogging' at Samrak Ecological Park
Regular Environmental Cleanup Volunteer Activities at Gwangalli and Nakdong River
On the 3rd, Air Busan (CEO Doo Sungkuk) new employees and staff members conducted a plogging activity, collecting trash around the Samnak Ecological Park area in Busan.
Employees picked up household waste discarded throughout the park and disposed of the collected trash in eco-friendly biodegradable bags. Air Busan regularly organizes local environmental cleanup activities in areas such as Gwangalli and along the Nakdong River, with direct participation from its staff every year.
Air Busan continues to carry out various eco-friendly initiatives to raise environmental awareness. It was the first airline to replace all in-flight duty-free bags with paper materials, and the in-flight magazine 'FLY&FUN' provided in the seats is also produced using recycled paper to contribute to environmental protection. In particular, since the establishment of its headquarters building, Air Busan has installed solar panels to utilize renewable energy for the building's power consumption.
