Lee Kyunghoon, Director of Han-Young Hanmaeum Children's Hospital, Donates 5 Million Won to Nam-gu Office in Daegu for Neighbor Support
Lee Kyunghoon, the Chief Director of Hanyeong Hanmaeum Children's Hospital in Nam-gu, Daegu, announced on the 3rd that he has donated 5 million KRW to Nam-gu District Office as a charitable contribution for neighbors in need ahead of the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
Hanyeong Hanmaeum Children's Hospital has been designated as a "Dalbit Children's Hospital," which provides pediatric care during late-night hours, weekends, and holidays when medical services are typically difficult to access, and has been dedicated to pediatric care.

View original imageRecently, the hospital was also selected for a pilot project led by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service to establish a regional pediatric care cooperation system. As a result, the hospital will serve as a central institution facilitating prompt collaboration between clinics and general hospitals in pediatric care until the end of December 2026.
Chief Director Lee Kyunghoon stated, "With the current crisis in pediatric and adolescent care, our medical staff are taking on even greater responsibility for treating young patients in the region. Through this pilot project, we hope to further enhance the quality of the pediatric care system," adding, "I hope that the donation, made possible by the hard work of our medical staff and employees, will be meaningfully used for those in need in the community."
Cho Jaegu, Mayor of Nam-gu, Daegu, said, "I would like to thank the staff and employees of Hanyeong Hanmaeum Children's Hospital, who play a pivotal role in pediatric care in our region. We will ensure that the donation is used where it is most needed so that those who are marginalized in our community can enjoy a warm holiday."
