Government and KOTRA Host 'Global Talent Fair'... Over 400 Overseas Companies Participate
Held on 27-28... Aiming to hire about 700 people, interviews and consultations
More than 400 overseas companies participated in the global recruitment fair "2024 Global Talent Fair" hosted by the government and KOTRA, meeting with job seekers. The government and KOTRA supported foreign-invested companies and domestic companies in hiring quality talent. Job seekers had the opportunity to obtain recruitment information from foreign companies, which often have frequent hiring but are difficult to find information about.

KOTRA announced that the Global Talent Fair, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Employment and Labor and organized by KOTRA, was held on the 27th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The fair, held from the 27th to the 28th, featured a record 416 participating companies, including 145 overseas recruiting companies, 166 domestic foreign-invested companies, and 105 domestic companies hiring foreigners. Participating companies aimed to hire over 700 talents through interviews and consultations at the fair.
On-site, HR representatives from foreign companies directly consulted with job seekers. For job seekers, it was difficult to access recruitment information from foreign companies due to frequent hiring at irregular times. This made the opportunity especially valuable. At the overseas employment section, HR representatives from overseas recruiting companies conducted hiring interviews on-site for job seekers who passed document screening and the first round of online interviews.
In addition to the recruitment booths, the fair provided job concerts (sharing recruitment information and successful employment cases), one-on-one employment consulting with HR professional consultants, and resume review services.
