At this event, GH announced that it will achieve ‘Net-Zero·RE100 by 2026,’ the first among public institutions in Gyeonggi Province, by promoting renewable energy projects (solar power) in the mandatory greenhouse gas reduction sector related to its own usage and creating a carbon offset park.
For the social greenhouse gas reduction sector related to its projects, GH has established guidelines for 31 implementation plans aiming for a ‘60% carbon reduction by 2050.’
Key implementation plans include ▲ constructing a sustainable green office at the Gwanggyo new headquarters ▲ participating in renewable energy projects ▲ installing solar panels on existing rental housing ▲ modular construction of public housing ▲ creating a carbon offset park ▲ supporting tenant companies’ RE100 initiatives.
Since October last year, GH has been operating the ‘GH Carbon Neutral Advisory Committee,’ composed of 14 external experts, to establish the Net-Zero strategy and roadmap.
