Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Announces General Staff Personnel Changes Effective September 1
Promotion and Transfer Announcements for 230 Personnel
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 21st the confirmation of 230 general civil servant personnel appointments effective September 1.
This personnel appointment includes 157 promotions, 34 transfers, 17 new appointments, and 22 honorary retirements, totaling 230 personnel.
In the Grade 4 Secretary appointments, Lee Hyung-rae, Head of Audit Team 2 in the Audit Office, was promoted to Public Relations Officer, and Park Joon-soo, Head of the Eastern Facilities Team in the Education Facilities Division, was promoted to Director of the Education Facilities Division.
Additionally, Kim Sun-soo, Administrative Officer at Hampyeong Hakdari High School, was assigned as Head of Audit Team 2 in the Audit Office; Kim Kyung-joo, Administrative Officer at Yeosu Yeomyeong School, was assigned as Head of the Private Facility Support Team in the Green Smart Future School Promotion Group; and Kim Yong-gwan, Administrative Officer in the Green Smart Future School Promotion Group, was assigned as Head of the Educational Equipment Team in the Education Facilities Division.
An official from the Provincial Office of Education stated, “We have placed talented personnel with expertise and those necessary for improving organizational culture in appropriate positions to effectively support school operations and foster organizational harmony.” He added, “We will continue to actively select individuals who do their best in their duties behind the scenes.”

He continued, “This was done to promptly allocate necessary personnel to frontline institutions (schools) experiencing operational difficulties due to vacancies from leave or retirement,” adding, “It also includes promotions of lower-ranking civil servants to higher ranks to boost morale.”
