Osan-si Opens 'Saessak Station' at Gohyeon I-Park

On the 20th, Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 21st that it held an opening ceremony for 'Saessak Station No. 7,' a shelter for young children to use when going to and from daycare or kindergarten, at Gohyeon I-Park Apartments in Gohyeon-dong.

'Saessak Station' is a project pledged during the 8th local government term, aimed at protecting young children from cold, heat, fine dust, and preventing various safety accidents when they go to and from daycare centers or kindergartens.
Starting with Segyo Central Park in August last year, the city has completed the installation of Saessak Stations at a total of seven locations, including I-Pyeonhansesang Osan Segyo, Jukmi Village Hutton 9 Complex, Wondong Hillstate, Unam Jugong 1 Complex, Yangsan-dong Neulpureun Oscarville, and now Gohyeon I-Park.

Lee Gwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, said, "The installation of Saessak Stations was planned to address the concerns of parents who had to send and pick up their children in the rain and snow on the streets." He added, "We will continue to promote projects that come closer to the citizens."
